Awarded at the House of Lords: A Win for Women’s Health

Awarded at the House of Lords: Championing Women’s Health! 😍

I stood in the UK House of Lords, Houses of Parliament, humbled and proud, as I accepted the Health and Wellbeing Champion of the Year award.

This isn’t just a personal milestone, it’s a collective win for every woman who has ever been dismissed, unheard, or told their symptoms are “just part of being a woman.”

I do this work because I know what it’s like to live in pain, to be told "you're fine" when you're anything but. And I’ve seen the transformations that happen when women are truly listened to, supported, educated, and empowered with the right tools.

This award shines a light on a mission much bigger than me:
✨ To bring root-cause, functional support to women of colour
✨ To shift the narrative around hormones, fatigue, painful periods, and perimenopause
✨ To educate, empower, and elevate from the clinic to businesses, colleges, universities, and communities.

Thank you to Nana Ama Ofori-Atta, Doctoral Researcher, Natalie Djima, and Michelle Raymond. To those who nominated me, to the brilliant judges, and to those who see this work and who believe in a better standard of care for women, thank you. I’m just getting started. To God be all the glory.

Know an organisation, workplace, or community that needs this message? Let’s connect.
